Hello Fellow Anglers

Great news at Lewisville this morning!!! Got there at 6am to crappie fish. Saw big schools of sandies at 7am. It was on from there until I left!! Non stop feeding frenzy all over the lake. There were at least 40 plus boats fishing and we had plenty of room. Caught over 60 sandies and 2 keeper hybrids. No time for pictures. I left at 9:30am and it's still feeding!! It was a mad house. I had never seen so much schooling like this before. Just got home. Just spoke to my buddy. He said they are still feeding crazy!! All these schools are between I35 and main lake. Your go check it out!! Go catch them!

We were planning on going out early Sunday morning and now thanks to your report, I am much more pumped up about it. The last two weekends on LL for us has not been all that good of fishing. There will be big boat shows like never before! What did you catch them on?

I caught hybrids and sandies with umbrella rig with 4" swim baits. Sandies were hitting anything they see. I used crank bait, crappie jig, popper, swim bait, etc. changed my tactic to umbrella rig. Man...I was catching double on this rig. Caught 22" hybrid and 15" sandie at the same time. My reel was screaming!! Yes, there was definitely a boat show this morning. Everybody was catching! I would had stay but had to take the wife to a doctor. Gotta take care family first. Good thing she let's me go fishing..

just got off the water... its on!!!!!!! caught about 50 at little elm and then went looking for hybrids got a couple of unders and then switched to crappi tried a few spots I knew of and picked up 5... nice day...

Good to know you did well nogeese. Maybe you could show me how catch them crappie. I don't do well when it comes to crappie.

Just curious...what is the water temp for LL now? Near 90 degrees yet?

Water temp was 85 degrees at 1030 when we left Saturday. Fish were schooling in large quantities in the main lake.

Thanks, 488! The water temp on Hubbard was 85-86 degrees a week ago and with the 100 degrees temp days we just had, I though the lake temp would rise a bit. But good to know, thanks.

LL fishing this morning was as advertised. Plenty on top water action. Only one guy stood out in a red boat with two dogs, everyone else played nice. Tom did catch a nice hybrid of 23 inches and I had one for 22 and another for 19. Hey, Todd, you guys got your own lake to use and it is much better than ours so don't be comin over here cause there really aint no fish in Lake Lewisville!!!
