As far as set up goes in saltwater what's the best way to haul back good size drum etc. heard some guys use dry storage converted to a cooler, stringers and what ever else there may be but once there to big to go in the cooler where do you go from there?

Fish bags, stringers... A lot of people release the larger ones and save the mediums and smaller for the table. Really with many of the better table fish there are specific bag and size limits you need to be aware of. Sometimes those bigguns ain't legal to keep.

i guess stringer would be the best bet goin the salty route for flats etc., pretty up to date on the laws always keep a laminated card on me just in case i second guess myself but im doin some customizing to my new ocean and ive heard of a few guys converting there front dry storage to a cooler, but i was mostly curious for the guys goin BTB with larger fish, could go stringer route but then you also have sharks etc.

Morning trips : Stringer and a cooler...drag your fish on the stringer until you make the paddleback then put them in the small cooler..why? Because paddling back a limit of drum and reds is a PITA ....and the sun will kill and dry out your catch if you toss them in the kayak to paddle

Night trips: take the stringer and just throw the fish in the kayak with you while paddling back, no sun out means your fish wont die quickly and dry out

BTB..its all about those fish bags, fill with ice and make sure they are at least 45" for the kings...stringers are a no no as well as bait buckets floating in the water
