I am bringing my riverboat(1448 lowe with a 25 merc). I want to do a little of everything. I want to spend a day/night fishing the jetties, and a day/night fishing in the bay. I would love to go with a guide but the wallet does not allow it.

If your in the bay area during the day and its cloudy to clear out...throw some plum colored trout killers out there, hedon super spook jr, or run shrimp on a popping cork and you should get some reds and trout. That's the last I've seen. My buddy lives there and picked up a limit of reds in the bay. Oh....and if you haven't ever used fish bites....i'd personally recommend it.
