Cabela's had them on sale last weekend.

These shoes are amazing. They dry quickly and are comfy on the feet on pavement. Fully meshed out with a toe guard they are my favorite amphibious shoe.

I ended up getting these. $14.99 at Academy. Good quality, comfortable, cheap and good solid soles. I tried on the $4.99 aqua socks and didn't like them. Not enough support IMO. I also tried on the skele-toes. Not for me at $49.99. A little weird with the material between the toes.

I have a few pairs of wet sock/wet suit booties but much prefer my newer pair of water shoes from Cabelas made by Sperry, SON-R-Shandals for about $90...

Look at what my skeletoes did to my feets....

For me they're ok. Cheap alternative to the vibrams. Yes, they're less comfortable than vibrams. They do tend to get hot as zombie noted. I just dip my feet over the side to cool them off & I'm good to go. I don't have the trouble lining up my toes to the correct holes. There's a trick to it I'll show you some day zombie... Wade fishing with them is awesome. Have good traction under water. Will stay on your foot even walking in knee high thick mud. The Velcro strap are very secure. I still prefer the vibrams though.
