Found the pants I was talking about. http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/i...rentPage=family I remembered the drawstring in the waist. That was why I called them my pajamas. Very cool and unzip the legs to get more breeze to the boys. If you haven't tried the Chill Ties around your neck they help a LOT! I keep 1 in the ice chest and swap out every now and then.

I wear a long sleeve Magellan white, or teal shirt, shorts or Magellan zipper pants, crocs and a floppy hat with teh tail for my neck. Sun screen on my knees if wearing shorts as needed.

Is there any oppinions on a under shirt? I have tried many applications on sun block. I keep getting pushed towards wearing a under shirt. How can two shirts be cooler than one?

Old construction worker's trick. Wear a cotton T-shirt under another shirt, short or long sleeve but long sleeve keeps sun off skin and is actually cooler. The T-shirt gets wet after a few minutes of work and stays wet with sweat, cooling you off. try it. It works!

I usually start out in the morning wearing a t-shirt and take it off later and put on the Columbia, without an undershirt. it's much hotter with an undershirt. Don't need sunblock with the long sleeve Columbia shirt, on your body at least, i still put it on my legs and tops of my feet. But i wear shorts and flip flops. If i am wearing my long Columbia pants and shoes i don't obviously.

Don't forget to take along a small spray bottle. Put ice in it. A cool spray now and then will really help your core too.

I just put on my shorts, flip flops and a t-shirt. Then stay indoors during the hottest part of the day with the a/c running. Seems like a nice cool 73 in here right now.

This is in no way stylish, but hey I don't care anymore.
I like my crocks, they are really comfortable on my feet. throw a pair of angle socks or no show white socks in the boat and put them on so the sun does not hit your feet. Much cooler, but maybe take the socks off before the last trip to the ramp..

Keep 2 or 3 solid white bar towels in the cooler. When starting to get hot drap one over top of nogg'in, put hat on, good to go. When towel begins to dry, swap out for a new cold/wet one. Worked well up to 113 degrees on Lake Mead.
