Went out from 9AM to noon fishing the dam area and caught 40: 19 whites to 16 inches, 3 legal hybrids to 23 inches, 12 keeper yellow bass, 3 blue cats, 1 crappie, 1 drum and 1 LMB. Dam Drop-off and Dam Ridge by the Pole produced mostly yellow bass. Finally got into good fish at Greenhouse Ridge (see pic of graph below). They were deep - 25 to 26 ft - water and wanted a fast retrieve of the #4 Mepps. The 3 hybrids were caught here (pic of one below). A light breeze kept it from being too hot. Graph at Greenhouse Ridge: 22 inch hybrid; also caught a 21.5 inch and a 23 inch one

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
