Just started fly fishing a few weeks ago. this week i will be heading to west bay to give it a shot, however i have no idea what flies to use. can someone suggest something to me? we will be in the boat and probably shoot across to the intercoastal waterway and fish around there.

I just picked up a G.Loomis Crosscurrent 8wt and an adventure 7 reel... its a few steps up from my old bamboo rod and pflueger reel i started with.. smile

any advice is much appreciated!!

thanks,

J

Clousers of all sorts of colored, weights and sizes. Some tied heavy others sparse. VIP poppers, crease flies, some merkin sand a few shrimpy flies will have your bases covered. Good luck.
