Any of you boys know of a good restaurant on the water at Cedar Creek? Mommas birthday and Daddy's trying to keep her happy. Help a buddy out and keep the home life good!

There was a place called Tiki Hut at Don's Port Marina. Not sure if it is still open for business, haven't been there in a few years but the food and drink was good.

Tight lines and God bless.

Don't count on the tiki hut being open. We went there twice in the last few weeks. The first time 15 minutes before closing time and the second time 40 minutes before the closing. Both times they said we are closing, kitchen is closed. No we're sorry, no explanation, nothing. The second time the girl was rude about it like we were causing trouble for wanting a burger 40 minutes before closing time.

Take a fish boating today!

Jalapeno Tree in GBC, Lake Jackson Seafood in GBC. Ranch House in GBC are all decent places with decent food.

Sounds like the Tiki Hut hasn't changed much.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

X2 Jalapeno Tree steak and shrimp is awesome. Lake Jackson has good frog legs.

Fast Guy gave you some good ones, unless you want a burger or hot dog, Tiki Hut is not where you want to go. They have a new owner & all the good stuff that used to be on the menu is gone.

2 Bedroom Lake house on CC for rent. P.M. me!

We ate at that Tiki Hut when we were there for the TSA (6/2) and had no problems with the place. I think it was mid day or early afternoon when we went. At that time they were just waiting on the liquor license to get approved. They were all stocked up but not serving so it must have been close. Once they are able to start selling booz, you probably will not have a problem with them closing early.

If you're going by water, keep an eye out if you go there in the afternoon. After the TSA (4ish), in the time that it took my buddy to go get the trailer and back it down I watched 2 jet ski's do dounuts inside the marina, a boat ran into another, a young girl (maybe 4yrs old) fell off the dock and had to be rescued while she was headed to the bottom & the rescure ended up having to be resued. The place was crazy crazy
