Floating the llano ?

I will be trying the llano the first week in july. Hwy 87 to castell and castell to the next bridge. and maybe from ther to the next. Anybody ever float and fish these areas?

Haven't floated, but we used to fish the 1871 bridge. Lots of fish under it. I would check the flow, as I was down in April and there was only a trickle at 1871.
Calling a sport Ghey isnt cool unless in the privacy of your glitter boat.

http://waterdata.usgs.gov/tx/nwis/current/?type=flowScroll down to the Colorado River Basin, under it scroll down to Llano River nr Mason,Tx. Click on the blue number on the left side of that. This time of year live grasshoppers should be a really good bait.
