I think Waco has a great population of bass in it. This year has been tough though. There was a thread on here the other day and from what I have read it is not just Waco, it is the entire state (excluding Falcon! It is tough everywhere!!

My wife and I will be out there monday.

Well chit howdy Skip, fancy runnin across you here! How are you & your better 1/2 doin??
Like Skip said JPhilpott, there's lots of fun pokin on TX boards, gotta have a bit of a skin but it's all in fun. He fishes Waco pretty often & has good advise...

I have had some good times on waco. I have had my best days in the hard woods. I have won two tournaments chucking a blue black ugly otter in the trees. Welcome to the TFF and if you are going to make it here you better have thick skin and don't get spooled up so easy.

Got on the lake at 1 this afternoon and fished for 3 hours, we only boated 3 small ones. Not the best time to be out there with all the pleasure boaters.

See that fish in my picture, Lake Waco! I guarantee you there are tons of bass in that lake, you just have to catch them.

I caught that 8lb bass just a month ago so I'm not sure what's going on.
