I am looking to buy a 898c SI combo and found this site on-line. The unit sells for $200 less than most retail stores. It says they are new units and come with warranty. Just wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with purchase from the outlet store. Thanks.

just make sure it comes with the transducer, some of those units do not and it is looks like an awesome deal until you look at what comes with it

just make sure it comes with the transducer, some of those units do not and it is looks like an awesome deal until you look at what comes with it X2 on that. I looked at the site a while back and the one I was looking at did not come with a transducer

I've bought quite a lot of stuff from them. Always as shown.Do check about the transducers as said above.I've never had any trouble with them at all.
Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Universal has the best deal by far. My buddy just bought an 1198 from them and had it in two days.
