Got to do a little fishing on fathers day last weekend, only had a few hours so dropped in at East Fork right around 7:15. Hadn't been on Lavon in years but with all the water in the lake decided to flip creature baits to the flooded vegetation in and around the power plant area and the creek to the left of Clear Lake Park. Best 5 would have pushed 14lbs, with a heavy 4lber and a few 3's mixed in. Caught a few cranking the same areas after the sun got up but couldn't keep the sand bass off the bait. Finished with a bloody mary at the Collin Park restaurant and bar.

Nice report. I did not know they had drinks there.
