He was wearing waders and it drops in a hurry where he "drowned" I think he missteped fell and the waders filled and anchored him down.

That's pool water, it's not as heavy as lake water.

It was really windy tuesday evening, i left oak grove around 7p.m. that night due to the wind and waves. I think its very possible a wave, current, or drop off knocked him over and due to the weight of waders possibly was the reason he couldnt recover. If he wasnt wearing a wadding belt water could get in them. And even if water didnt they still can be heavy. But i dont think there will be clear cut evidence without someone seeing it happen

Once the waders fill with water they are basically neutral. The heaviness feel comes from moving the water in the waders. The waders do not become an anchor - but getting out of the water with that much water can be difficult. Swimming with that much water in your waders is harder but not impossible. I would suspect something else happened.
I know this from first hand experience with waders! Slippery rocks on a cold stream - flowing water etc. It was not fun to be cold but I never felt as if the waders were pulling me under - just heavy when I finally got my feet under me and started walking out of the water.
The difference between winners and losers: Winners blame themselves for their failures and strive to get better. Losers blame everybody else and give up.

Exactly. It is the same thing that happens when people drive a car into a lake. You can't open the door until the car is completely submerged because you still have outside pressure from the water pushing the doors closed. Once the cabin fills the pressure on both sides of the door becomes equal and you can open it. So if you find yourself in that situation try to break the window before the car goes down, or get a good breath and be prepared to go down a ways with the car before getting out. Also if you hyperventilate before holding your breath you can hold it for much longer. It lowers the CO2 in your body enabling you to hold for much longer time! This is a really sad story. You think you are perfectly fine and are fishing just like the million other times. Next thing you know some freak incident occurs and you pass away. Thoughts go out to the family.
