I am sure this has been disgusted before but I could not find any help using the search function.
When you guys make your crappie structure; condos, stick beds, sink brush, etc. What do you look for in a place to set them out at?

I am pretty new to crappie fishing, but getting better at it. I just wanna create some of my own spots so I have some more places to fish.

Good places are main lake to cove openings on drop off's where the depth starts up at about 15 to 18 feet depending on the amount and size of the brush or condo. This will create year round fishing as the crappie will just move up and down or group up with shad above. That is the theory anyway. Seems to work except during the shallow water spawn time. Good luck!!
Also, bridges are also good at the same depth to a little deeper.
