Garland/Beltline has drastically gone down hill since it has gotten all the publicity. I used to catch 5's a 6's easily down there. I haven't caught anything over 3 in months. Nothing over 4 in over a year. If anyone goes out here, pick up you trash, and practice catch and release. I hate going out to this pond that is right behind my house, and seeing 4 or 5 guys from Rockwall or where ever they have traveled from, with 5 gallon buckets full of bass ranging from 6 inches up to about 3 lbs. If one of those people is reading this now, thanks for ruining one of my favorite holes. The spot at Jupiter/beltline is ok. Neither of the places is the best in Garland, nor will I give out these places. The best thing I can tell you, is to get on Google Earth and look for bodies of water.

1.Dig big hole
2.put water into hole
3.buy 1500lbs of baitfish
4.fish for bass from lakes and take em it's not cool to do that but it's not illegal either
5.wait for 2 to 3 years before you see drastic changes to your pond!
6. Build habitats for fish

7.fish pond and enjoy fruits of your labor

Ewwww. Why wouldn't you practice C&R from that pond? The water is so dirty. there's always some black oily residue on the debris there

Funny you should mention Beltline and Jupiter. Stopped by there on my way to work. Was using a small black/chrome top water popper. 4th cast got a decent LMB, then all I could get were some agressive grennies. Saw some big bass after that but if you see them they have already seen you and are not interested.
