I've bought 19ft twinn vee bay cat and the original shoppers were gone the owner just put thru hulls in it and I need to replace them with a good set of scuppers but the hole is 1 3/4 and it seem to stay at or below the water line most of the time I've had another boat with perko rubber flaps on it before does any body of another brand with hard plastic or metal flaps that don't leak as much it has to be a thur hull design because there is no brass insert in the transom to seal it just a hole cut through with a hole saw any advice would be great or let me know were I can get a set like I want thanks

I'm in the process of trying a few things to keep water from coming into the boat from those holes. Right now, I'm using bath tub rubber plugs on the inside. It's working great to keep water from coming in. But to get water out, I have to grab some pliers and reach down there to pull both out. At least for right now, it's a temporary fix until I find something better. Might be the same for you.

I have the same problem on my Nitro Bay 1900. I constantly have water on my floor and can't get it to stop.

Ok I have a 1997 Bayquest that had the same problem. What I did it plugged up the holes with those rubber pluges with the handle you twist to make tight, then i drilled 2 small holes underneath them in the hull so if any water gets in it just drains to where my bilge pump is. I hated getting water inside due to the scuppers not stopping the water.

I just use plugs just like under the boat on my Nitro 2200. Keeps the water out. Never had any trouble once I bought 2 and started using them.

Thats a good idea about letting drain into the bilge and the plugs but I don't have a bilge it's a sealed deck but I have used the plugs before in my pro master thanks

My 94 pro master was that way it was a pain because your feet were always wet like wade fishing from in the boat but the rubber plugs helped some but water still got in somehow thanks for the reply maybe one day the builders will wake up and raise the deck height in these boat or make a scupper that work right

I use these to and they work pretty good. They let a very little water in sometimes. When I really want to keep water out is put foam golf balls in the my scupper holes in the boat. I have a piece of string through them so i can pull them in and out easily.

The first cc I bought had that problem. I went to autozone and asked for something and just happened to ask a worker if they had a rubber plug about so big. He came out with what he called a freeze plug. Fit perfectly and looked like it was made for the boat.
