The Texas Striper Associaton comes to Lake Tawakoni on Saturday, July 7, 2012 . We will be hosted out of Lake Tawakoni State Park. Registration will be a 5:30am with Captain's meeting to follow at 6am. All captains and boats must be present at the captains meeting to discuss rules and boat inspections. Weigh-in will follow at the State Park at 3pm. Please call Patty at Shoestring Farms for room/bed reservations. Wished I had a witty comeback but truth is, I've never caught a good fish at this lake. Don't know what it is about that place but it kicks my rear every time. So yes, I might need that tissue at the weigh in.

My strategy for this tourney is to fish everywhere I have never fished.

My startegy is to keep Riley away from the dang bait tank!!!!

At least we all know, now, that sunscreen will most defenatly, kill your bait.

Especially when you dump a bottle in!!! I think she learned her lesson.

Strategy? Just do what most of the locals do. Everyone launch there boat and drive around willy nilly and when the first one stops to fish they all gather around as close as possible. Then when the first one heads to another spot the all follow along like a bunch of baby ducks being lead by there mom.

Headed to the store now to see if I can find some Pearl Light.

That ought to teach you to stop buying that fru-fru stuff you use. Now you know all that coco butter, vitamin E, wrinkle resistant stuff you spend money on is a waste! Don't worry, I'm not going to tell them about the cucumber slices you put on your eyes at night....
