I had same feeling couple of weeks ago when I was fishing all over gvine. I tried Lewisville barge I caught 4 fish in an hour. You should definitely try this place. Lastly I'm also looking for a pond but didn't had any luck. Let me know as well if you come accross any pond.

Grapevine can be tough from the bank. The McPherson Slough area has been good to me a few times. They are usually on there or completely off. I got a 20 incher there probably 3 weeks ago. Was fun.

Also look up Bob Jones Park in Southlake. I am going there in a few minutes with a buddy of mine. Good pond for catfish. Bass are alright on it. I got 4 in about 2 hours work last night. Largest was probably 15 inches. So they aren't huge but catching fish is catching fish! And it is always a good time.

Bob Jones is usually great but last time I went it seemed really shallow and no one was catching anything (which is very unusual there). I agree about Mcpherson Slough, a lot of times bass like to hang around the boathouses.

Catching good bass on a jig off a deep water ridge right now. Booking half day trips for 75.00 several lakes to fish out of my electric boat. Have fun, catch fish, no pressure. PM me or call 972-346-2200
