Ok, this is my first attempt at adding photos.

Here is the first one that I took, keep in mind I was by myself, trying to get a few pictures, trying not to panic, because I was freaking out, and I was so worried that I would cause too much stress. Also trying to get the weight, I will talk more about that in a minute.

I have an older set of scales for weighing, she went a little under 9lbs, and from the measurements, just a little over 24". I started thinking about it Sunday morning, and I wanted to test the scale. So I put a 10 lb weight on there and it registered like 8 1/2 lbs. So I don't think I will ever know the true weight of this fish, the 10 lb weight weighed less than the fish did, but in a much more controlled environment, I need to get some digital scales, I just never really thought I would need them.

Either way, it was the best fish I ever caught, and I'm not trying to say, "Hey look at me", but I am very proud!

I wish I could have taken a picture holding the fish, I think it would show the size a little better, but since I was by myself it wasn't going to happen.

How many times did she jump outa the water? Most of the bigger fish I catch jump twice. I love it when they do that.

You caught that fish in one of the places that this thread talks about so you picked the perfect place to post the pictures. You can bet that I would have posted them, just like everyone who reads this thread.

Never Jumped, I was fishing along the bank where it was going from 3-4 ft, dropping off into 7-8ft, that body of water is only 9 ft deep in a few places, but once I set the hook she stayed down and tried to go towards the middle (somewhat deeper), but I was thinking maybe it was a catfish or something until I got her close to the boat, then I was like holy smokes!

One other interesting thing happened Friday evening, different pond but in the same area, I caught a crappie on a 10" worm. Never had that happen before

I fished the Walmart pond today.

When it's windy it is real hard to find the drop offs so I turned to tossing crankbaits.

Somebody needs to put in some fish attractors out there and some fish that will eat crankbaits.

Just sayin'.
