For me it's: C-Rig Shakey Head Swimbait
Not sure why I don't throw these, you hear about them all catching fish a lot. I have them all in my tackle box, but have only tried each a couple of times and I've been bass fishing for 20+ years.

C-rig...but I'm with FZ1, I don't force myself into learning new things very often. It really is just a hobby for me. I'd rather be fishing something I'm confident in and assume the fish aren't biting than try to grind through a day or two with a lure I know nothing about and feel like I have no idea if the fish are really biting or not.

I never was much of a jig fisherman though I had tons of Mr. Lonnie's jigs with pork frogs and plastic trailers in my tackle boxes. I guess it was because I had to slow down and really feel for the fish. I pitched and flipped a lot of fish in the boat but it was usually done with a plastic worm or lizard. It just seemed like the bites were a lot more agressive on the soft plastics. I've been out of the game so long now I have never got to try the drop shot thing. I like to fish deep too so I think I would love that.......

everytime I've forced myself to learn a new technique I love it. Very comfortable with drop shot, c-rig, a-rig, cranking, frogs, and weightless flukes now.
I need to force myself now pitching (I like drop shot pitching), jigs, and spoons.
