I am going out to Abilene tomorrow morning to try for some channel cats. I was reading that I should try the wind blown bank. I am going to be using CJs punch bait but I wanted to know if the wind blown bank was the side closest to the highway.

Wind is suppose to blow from the south. I like fishing on the east side and you should be able to hit some banks with the wind blowing into them. Also the dam would be a great place to fish. Should be able to catch alot, but usually some are on the small side. If you arnt catching anything in about 20 minutes I would move down further move to another spot. Once you get a decent spot at Kirby usually you will catch them pretty quickly.
