Just ordered one of these awesome new nets from EGO. Check this out. http://youtu.be/Y1HYKQAEEKg
Got to play with one last weekend and was sold. The rubber or coated nylon mesh are pretty fish friendly as nets go. Conservation Director approved.

Neat concept. Every telescopic net I've ever used has wound up getting stiff and binding up in short fashon. Mabe this one will be different, keep us posted.

Would be curious how they would hold up with a good fish and the net extended out. Alot of extenders feel flimsy extended.

I have been using one for a year now. I really like it. After trying several of the netting options the deep rubber one was superior for me. You do need to spray a little wd40 on the latch pin and sliding mechanism every once in a while.
