Coming out of my comfort zone (Lavon )and headed to palestine for a week, I'll be staying at lake palestine resort off Ruby rd. Never been there and I'm looking for suggestions on depth and color and anything else that could help. I will at be on a 17ft bay boat. Hoping to catch a crappie or two and if they are anything like the fish Crazyangler caught I'll have enough with a couple of fish.
Thanks all

I caught some nice ones under the bridge a couple of weeks ago... Using slab bandits - Texas toast and some hand tied jigs I tied. Hand tied were blue color. Had 2 16.5" fish and one 15" the rest were all around 12". Good luck.

Thanks Jerry. Guess I may take my vise and supplies, I've been using mostly rocky tops and thump buddies lately.
