Just wanted all TFF members to recognize that a Texas based rod company - Castaway Rods - treated me with with outstanding customer service in dealing with a broken rod. I sent the rod in Monday and just got a brand new one today via UPS with NO questions asked.
I know there are other rod companies but I wanted to tip my hat to Castaway Rods - thank you and I will continue to support Castaway and other Texas fishing equipment/bait manufacturers when possible.
Thanks Castaway Rods and keep up the good work.

Those are some good folks over there in Montgomery, I have several Skeletons and like them alot.

the number 1 reason I have been fishing with Castaway rods since 1990. Almost everyone there are fisher people, from the owner to the packager. They know what we desire and need in a rod and service. Plus a Texas based company makes it a bonus.

They are a great company. I accidently broke a rod a few weeks ago and they treated me well.

Last year I broke one of my titanium flippin rods and they told me I would have to pay half the cost of the rod and shipping and it would be about a month before I received my new one. Guess they've gotten a little better..

I agree. Last summer I bought two new rods and wanted the grips shortened. Took them by their office and they seemed very busy remodeling the building. They took both rods and I expected them to say they would be ready next week, instead they said come back in 30 minutes. They had them ready in 30 and were very customer friendly during a stressful time.
