No problem SGIPSON i have spent the last 14 days straight on Lake O The Pines trying to fiqure them out. I have caught several 7-8 Pounders the last couple of weeks up there, my best bait so far has been a heavy drop shot used for dropping grass. I cant give you my prime locations but North of 155 in the deep grass has been the ticket. I am always willing to help a young inexperencied angler like your self with his or her growing pains of Bass fishing. If you need any thing else or would like to book a guided fishing trip please contact Bart Doty. He taught me everthing i know about the Drop Shot rig.

Cameron-SGibson being a newby might need more of an open water instruction ,grass might intimidate him at this point. You have to start these dabbers off slow.

Well I hear y'all had to call Dr.Bart today. I guess the grass bite was not going on very good today with that drop shot rig. So we just got a crankbait and hooked it
and our foot.

Man he was hooked pretty good.... Right there in the arch where it would hurt the worst. I figured they woulda weighed him but they didn't.........! After a couple guys outweighed us, we left since it was raining. What won?

Hell they didn't have any scales that would weigh that high.

We ended up with 13 boats. Top 3 stringers were 12.96, 11.00 and 10.60. Hopefully next time the rain will hold off until after the weigh-in.

Cameron looked like he was in quite a bit of pain. I think the cold beer afterwards helped a little bit!

I'm planning on doing this again on the 30th. Same time and ramp. We may change to the 155 ramp in July. We'll see how it goes on the 30th and decide if we want to keep them at Overlook or move to 155.

BTW, make sure to put a tag in your windshield showing you paid a launch fee. The park ranger was going around checking and tried to give Dr. Bart Doty a ticket for parking a truck with no trailer in a parking spot! Doc straightened him out and pointed to the invisible trailer behind his truck!
