The fishing has been OFF THE HOOK the last few weeks. The hybirds and white bass are in there summer patterens. We have been finding fish on main lake humps in 15-25ft. They have been chasing shad up in shallower flats late in the afternoon. I am finding schools on my electronics and eather drifting over them with a 1 1/2 godfather slab from Moestackleshop.com or using the trolling motor to stay off the school and cast a 3/4 oz sassy shad to them. We are working the sassy slow on bottom (stop and go retreave). We have been boating BIG numbers of both hybirds and white bass. The summer SLUGFEST is in full swing on Cooper lake. I have days available in July if anyone wants to give Cooper a try.
