Here's dans deal... He spends a lot of money and time chasing abnormally freak of nature fish and gets worn out by people who don't weigh fish and claim they are DD. That confuses me.. With as many scales that aren't even close to being accurate, what difference does it make? A ton. Until my berkly had held or tournament scales reads 2 digits before it reads a decimal. That's the entire point man. A 9 pounder ain't a 10 in my book but in some folks it is. Just like that fish I caught with you on ray Roberts. We were both thinking DD class fish. Guess what. Another 9 something Congrats! Go to Bass Pro, towards the back and buy yourself a patch that says "9 pounder club" LOL

I would take the fish all day, but there are strings attached. About 10 years ago my pops caught a real biggon on an ultra rod and 6 pound test. Didn't have a scale or camera because the lake he was at rarely produced fish over 2 pounds (which is why he was using the ultra light). Guys at the ramp said it was proabably over twelve as it "bottomed out their 8 pound spring scale instantly" as pops says. They also took a polaroid of it for him. That said, he got credit for an 8 lb 1 oz fish...

Lol. I could be the national president. Start my own clothing line I could be vice president. I've caught a 9-14, and a 9-15, but no DD, YET! I would take the fish. Get pictures, measure length, girth and calculate weight.
