We'll be out Friday, depending on the wind will determine if it Waco or belton.

That water is HIGH right now

Thanks for the post!

Never been to Waco but it's a BUNCH closer than Limestone, may have to give it a try!!

I think my kids would like working a little jig more than dropping a minnow anyway. Are they pretty picky on the presentation, or is it more about the right depth??

They are not picky, I had a 8 year old that was throwing the end of his rod all over the place. Get them over a brush pile and bring it a couple cranks off the bottom and they will get bit

Guess I'm hitting lake Waco for the first time this evening. I'll be looking for brush piles south of the bridges.

Is there a certain color jig head or body they prefer?? Sending the wife to buy a few packages.

I just passed over the twin bridges, whitecaps everywhere. I hope he made it back before the storm arrived.

Didn't brave the storm. I was hoping it would blow over without turning loose. That wind was nuts!! I'll get there this week, I hope. Camping on Limestone this weekend.
