I know it's not a Crappie but this is where I hang out the most, so thought I would put it here too. My wife & I had our little 18 month old nephew down for the weekend so of course we had to take him down to the water & let him catch his first fish. This little cove has produced first fish for my two Nieces (now 16 & 19 yrs old) and now little Ty caught his first one there. He was a little bit scared of the fish but he loved playing with the night crawlers & throwing dirt in the water. By next spring he will be ready to go Crappie fishing with us.

Congrats to him and you for taking him. The main thing kids need is something on their line to add the excitement to make them want to do it again. Kids don't forget that stuff! Way to go!
