We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

this is where u have a misconception about these "pros", becuz they don't find $hit !!!!!!! they all network together with other anglers, hire guides when it's not off limits, share waypoints, ect. They ALL DO IT. So don't think some "ELITE" found these spots. because they didn't..

If that were the case, one would think the Texas studs like Gary Klein, Zell Rowland, Matt Reed, Rick Clunn, Kelly Jordon, James Niggemeyer, Russell Parish and so on would have finished better than the bottom half of the field. I mean, they're as well connected with locals and guides on the Bend as anyone. In fact, of the Top 12, how many of those guys are from Texas or Lousiana? Two, Hackney and Miyazaki.

I never really thought of doing such a thing until now. Will have to remember to just go follow some key people at the next big crappie tournament.

Not saying they don't get help. They get everything they can within the rules. But saying that none of them found any of that stuff on their own is ridiculous. Again, if that's all it took you can bet the guys I named above would have been in the thick of things. As it stands, the top 12 are from...

KS
MS
SC
LA
FL
AL
AR
AL
SC
TX
MS
CA

I will idle it and analyze why the fish were there( not while they are fishing) and move on to find similar stuff. The lake is too big to fish in somebody's back pocket unless you are clueless about fishing and need to be guided.

One day I hope to be as good as you! Whatever, get a grip, nobody cares how great of a fish hunter you are.

Fouzman, sorry to burst your bubble but maybe 25% of the top 12 found their own fish. 7 boats do not just run 12 miles up lake to where everything looks the same, fish the same identical spot, and then leave without fishing anything else.

Who cares, that's just the way it is now days. They all try to get as many waypoints as possible, and usually the one whose waypoints work out best are the ones who win the tournament.

Geeze. You're talking about one of the biggest lakes in the south and worrying about running out of places to fish because of the elite series being there? You might wanna find a new hobby.....
