i know this topic has been posted before, but i wanted to see about renting a kayak for this upcoming weekend. my brother is coming to town and i need to get him a kayak to use. I plan on going to joe pool, i know they have a rental place there, but i dont really think they're the kind of kayaks i'd like for him to use, being a first timer and fishing at the same time. i'd like to do something like pick it up the night before, and take it back the next afternoon, as i plan on getting to the lake fairly early. also would need to get him a paddle and a pfd.

High Trails Canoe and Kayak in Garland rents some fishing kayaks, not sure what they rent at Anglers Pro Tackle in Hurst but they carry a lot of fishing kayaks and I think that is their focus. http://anglersprotackle.com http://www.hightrailscanoe.com

Those both look good, apt is in a good location, he other has a good price point. Are the pretty much my only options in this area?

We are running half price rentals through the end of June to help get awareness out in the market that we are a rental depot. Call the shop for more information.

Those both look good, apt is in a good location, he other has a good price point. Are the pretty much my only options in this area? Those are the ones I am aware of other than REI that are local to DFW, not sure if there are more in the mid cities/western part of the metromess.
