Went to Lake Arlington for a short session this morning (Tuesday). First line in at 6:45 with cloudy skies and a nice breeze. First fish at 7:45, followed by my first double in a while about 30 minutes later. I managed 7 fished before the heat index started climbing. Left the lake at about 11:30. Best fish was this one at 11 pounds even. The others were between 8 to 10 pounds. Nothing big, but a lot of fun.



I am trying to determine the interest in a night fishing trip at Lake Arlington. There is room for several people. No really big fish, but a fair chance at a mirror. Let me know and maybe we can set up a date if there is some interest.

I would be interested. Josef and Chad have been by my area of Lake Arlington, I am not sure how many could fit here. I guess I could drive to the Arlington side of the lake : ). I caught a 13.10 and a 7 pounder over the weekend.

Looking at fishing the park area at the west end of Arkansas lane. Depending on the number of local non carpers, the area could likely support 5 to 6 carpers and possibly more by setting up gear on the piers.

The point would hold several people, but you have to haul your gear a couple of hundred yards..
