Lately I've decided that I'd like all my rods to be American made. In the last month I've swapped all of my old rods to Falcon Bucoos. Anyways, I want a rod that I can dedicate to wacky rigged 5" senkos.
What should I get?
Is there a bucoo that you would recommend for that?
Should I pony up and get the low rider or cara t7?
Is the weightless worm model the best choice? (Falcon seems to be a little generous with there power ratings, I don't know if the MH will be strong enough)
Last question I promise, is there another American company you would suggest over the falcons?
Thanks!

i don't think Buccoo is made in the US. Nothing wrong with that at all just making sure if US rods are your intent then you might not have as many choices. Personally I like a Dobyns Champ 733c but I bet the Savvy would work just as well.

Might try the Bucco Finesse jig rod. The Cara Finesse Jig rod is great for senkos. Also, the Cara Weightless Worm too. I use both a lot but the finesse jig might be more versatile.

And I'm not being smart mouthed, I've heard others say the same thing you did. However the way I understand it the "HD" series is the only one made outside the US.

You are probably right. Nothing wrong with a Falcon at all.

I have the falcon weightless worm mh lowrider. It is not my favorite for sure. For senkos I tend grab my dobyns 703 I believe, much more.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been wanting to try Dobyns. Are they American made?

You can't go wrong with Dobyn's or Falcon. Also, G. Loomis rods are AWESOME! Pricy, but WELL worth it!

If you want an actual usa crafted rod, st croix makes an excellent MH in their Legend Tournament series. . the new one is a 7'1" MH F and would be very versatile . . if your using lighter line, the 71 MH XF may be even better . .

I use a Falcon Lowrider Weightless Worm LFC-5-167. Very happy with it.
