Turn your lights on after dark. A lot of boaters on the lake who can't see you.

Saw a purple Ranger in Twin Coves - but it was broad daylight! Be careful out there...

After I took this pic, a boat came up close and he turned them on, I'm assuming to warn the other boat. I'm not trying to be rude with my original post, just want to remind everyone to be safe.

my partner and I were fishing a night tournament out there last summer. Were coming across the lake and pull into pretty much the same area as your photo, when all of a sudden 2 bass boats side by side flip their lights on (we had already came off plane and dropped the trolling motor) and start cussing us for fishing to close. Its pitch black dark, about 1130 at night and these guys are a good 30-40 yards away from us when they flipped on their lights. We ignore them, keep fishing the opposite direction when both boats fire up the big motor and start to circle us, cussing us the entire time.

They ended up leaving and we fishing this area for another 30 minutes or so, left and went to 1 more spot and then called it a night. Tournament was over at 2am, we headed home at 1 and find out that 1 of these jokers "protest" us for fishing to close. LOL

Who they going to protest to when they are swimming to shore. Scratch that, those type dont wear life jackets and cant swim.

Thats funny, if their anchor lights were on most anglers are going to fish another area, leave them off and they get more traffic. Why two boats in same area with lights off in a tournament? Something fishy going on possibly.
