I just got a new to me boat. My wife loves to bream fish. She wants to go this weekend. What lakes up here have decent bluegill and red ears?

I have never fished the in the Dallas area however just about all of the lakes up there should have good populations of Sun Fish. Fish by structure such as docks and bridges.

I found the bluegill today at LA, no copper nose but 34 nice bluegills. I'll post pics when my wife has time, ok, she will post pics.

I found the bluegill today at LA, no copper nose but 34 nice bluegills. I'll post pics when my wife has time, ok, she will post pics. Looking forward to seeing em!

Boat, in about 4-5 fow. Using crickets from Petco!

Sounds about right. I've been on them deep. Me and my fishing buddy took 44 Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 or just about dark.
