Nice place...great selection of higher end merchandise. Good fly selection, particularly saltwater. Knowledgeable people and good trips.

They have a great staff. Very helpful and friendly the moment you walk in. Their events are also a lot of fun. Anything they don't carry, they can usually order for you.

Is this store very good because i have alway wanted to go there? This also is the one in dallas right? Pretty good as far as stores go, nothing too amazing. But the staff is top notch and worth going to the shop just because of them. Matt has helped me with fly selections for trips from broken bow to galveston and everywhere in between and he's been dead on every time. I think the online code is "fathers day" if I remember correctly

I too have had good experiences with the Tailwaters folks.
Does anyone know when the Facebook coupon/code expires? I'm thinking hard about a pair of either the Simms Riprap or Mariner shoes and I need adequate time to have pre-purchase buyer's remorse.
I haven't been on their online store in a while. I was pleasantly surprised by the free shipping it showed for either pair of those shoes. Free shipping makes me inexplicably happy.
