This could work great with my flatbottom Frontier. Has anyone ever tried this? I think I have everything I need to put it together. I thought it was pretty cool!

Be prepared to have a few spare crates on hand as you will be making regular replacements.

Get some cheap 90* angle metal and cut it to fit in each of the corners. That should stiffin it up a bit. Nice idea btw

It could even pull double duty as your fishing crate too to save on storage. Just make the wheels easily removable somehow. Like the idea!

@ hl&s---Thanks for the video!
@ mike-- Thanks for the 411!
@ ntxp--- Thanks for the idea! I'm a carpenter/woodworker and have lots of lumber around. Do you think a ripped 2x4 would work as well as angle iron?
@ bull--- I thought about that, too. I took it even further. Why not mount the wheels to the TOP of the crate? Once your done moving the yak, set it in upright position and the wheels will be on top. If you tack another wheel (minus the tire) to one of the mounted tires, you could wind your anchor rope on it. My mind wanders.....lol
