Just wanted to introduce my self.been lurking around the bank fishing side of this forum.My mother is Sharon Hill and she left some of her stuff in my garage so I decided what the hay lets see if i can fish.So far ive just been staying at the dam at lavon but would like to venture else were and maybe take a guide trip on Lavon some time.I want to catch a monster catfish.Anyway Hello all.and this is a great forum..

She is doing great.She gets out alot on that river and well you know her catches everything just about.To what whip are you referring to C-man  .

You should introduce yourself on the cat fishing section. Guys there will give you all the advice and knowledge they can to help you catch those fish. Monster cats will be hard to find this time of year, but get yourself some experience now and when the weather cools off you'll be ready to pull in those trophies.
Lavon is a great lake for some big cats. Tawokoni is another trophy lake that's not far from you. I mostly fish lewisville, but will be visiting tawokoni a lot this coming winter. Good luck to ya!

Great info.Thanks..Right now im trying to get the feel for all the baits.I have done chic livers,worms,shad punch bait..Tonight im headed to the trestle on 78 with shrimp.So far ive only caught some blue cats with worms.
