If you like to throw Floro but think you must have mono for topwaters because flouro sinks here is a neat little trick.I carry a tube of chapstick in the boat and run it down the last two feet of my floro. This allows the line to float since the chapstick floats.Re apply from time to time.

Interesting tip. I havent made the jump to flouro yet. I guess I am behind the times, as usual.

Good idea. I will have to give it a try. I have used fly line floatant before, but chapstick would be cheap and easy.

I have found that chap stick on the line DOES work for a period of time on short casts. However, on long casts, the weight of the line sinking inhibits ANY amount of floatant you put in front of the lure.
