The Skeeters Owners event starts Friday and ends Sunday. Lots of boats on the lake. I normally don't mind the crowds but I have already made plans to help at a few booths there at the weigh in.

Try Tony Clark or Richard McCarty. Both are on TFF and are very good, long time fisherman on Lake Fork.

Good Lord, fellas. It's the Skeeter Owner's Tournament weekend! Let me ask any of you one question. Would YOU spend your limited guide-trip money to fish Lake Fork with a guide on those two days?

My advice, go elsewhere.

I am going fun fishing there Friday with a buddy in his new boat. All them bugs on the water won't stop the fish from biting. Fork can handle a crowd, that has definitely been proven. You just have to watch out for the other guy and keep your head straight.
Heck I fun fished one time during the McDonalds many years ago. Was not intentional but hey I drove down there and was not going home. Got on a good roadbed bite on c-rigs until a McDork motored over and dropped an anchor in the school. Said his trolling motor broke so he had to set up on the school of fish he watched us catch for 15 minutes.
We just laughed about it and went on down the lake.
