I'm surprised it hasn't happened more. Saturday night on Athens they were out pulling tubes and knee boards at midnight.

I will say depth perception at night is crazy. I remember one time the dam on Lake Lewisville snuck up on me big time. I do not drink... Ever, and ever since then I always use a GPS and run pretty slow in the dark... It is insane how much different lakes seem in the dark!

Was out fishing on Conroe today and had a guy try to run between me and the shore. He was on plane about 10 yards from the bank when he hit bottom and came to an abrupt stop. (25' deck boat.) There ain't no cure for stupid. He and his wife were okay, but he acted like he had no idea it could be that shallow where he was running. I gave him the phone number for the Tow Boat. Can't imagine what the weekends are like out there.

you can see looking inside the front of that boat why bayliners are more of a value line of boat. thats some thin support up there.
