Being from the Swamp personally. I believe they had every right to shoot the gator. I mean come on 11' plus, what would the average man do if it was to come near you?

Back to the this Denton pond. I banked fished it today and got one so tomorrow morning (dawn) I will be taking the inflatable out and see what's going on. Good information from the creator (post). Thanks, Wood.

Boat: Intex Marnier 4
Motor: Intex 40lb thrust (trolling motor)

That's for whoever would like to say hello. Also I'm on the search for the big bass as well. Secret spot I have, I recently lost a 9lb/10lb bucketmouth on a Stanley Ribbit 3" frog lure (blk/red neon flakes). So the itch is there.

Chartreuse (any lure and Spike It Glo) was the ticket today for me. Fished from 7 am until around 1 pm. Caught 6 total and missed 11 (@ boat). 3lb/4lb BucketMouth were my average but finally got on a 8lber easily but lost it at the boat. Overall the place is awesome and can not wait to go back. Will be there Wednesday morning if weather permits.

When I put thought to this place more, dealing with the water temperature that would explain the size/lbs of those bass there. I wonder how Summer time will be there with vegetation, water temp. rising, etc.

Question: Is the whole place (Luna/Beltline water) the deepest @ 10FT? The Ole Lady and I are wanting to explore drop shot more but w/o fishing so deep yet.. Thanks if anyone knows the answer.

Answer: ?

There off of Luna Rd and Beltline underneath Pres. G Hwy.

Make sense? Google Map it.

Yes for the tube. I rock an inflatable raft with trolling motor so..

Makes perfect sense where do u park at thinking about an early am trip there on sat. What's been working best since I'm a little limited on storage. That K's in advance. Lloyd

Parking is right underneath the bridge, you have to cross over the curb so I wouldn't risk a car. But your choice.

Yesterday was my first time going, so with that said I can't tell you much. I researched what folks are using but it didn't work for me. Chartreuse was my ticket for lure color. So anything with that might work. I'm going to use the stitch method (Split Shot Rig) next outing, which is tomorrow morning hopefully. If by Saturday I'm free AM wise I'll join you. I'll keep you updated.

Jig (brown) with trailer: Spike It Glo (chartreuse) on trailer
Lake Fork Swim Baits, I forget the name but you can see in last BucketMouth picture the lure.

Also what worked very well was letting it sink then a little pop/shake and WAHLAH lol.

There is nothing deeper than 10 feet there, most of it is 3-4 feet.

The last time I was there seems to me that under the bridge was 12ft-14ft and the rest is 3-6. the 6 foot on the north side of the lake.

So I shall remember at least 10FT to 14FT maybe. Perfect to master Drop Shot Rig as well as stitching method. Really excited now. Planning a trip in the AM (Wednesday) if weather permits. Was suppose to storm today but didn't so we shall see. Thanks for the info.
