will there be anyone at fork for the skeeter owners tourny that could look at my 997 and tell me why it dont show anything right.i have be to seminars, talked too people,researched online,tried every setting know to man and it still looks like carp.

Do you have a picture you could post up of where your transducer is located on the boat?
Is it powered directly to the battery or could there be something that's causing interference?

when mine went out on one side it was a damaged transducer - trouble shooting says disconnect and reconnect transducer - you can do a reset on the head unit - did it work on both sides ever or has one side always been bad? If it has always been that way it could be the location of the transducer.

i am on my 2nd ducer ...i have even took the whole unit ,tranducer and all and mounted it on my dads champion [when my boat was down] it still wasnt right.as far as wiring its hooked to the main power suppy by ign. i have tried hooking to starting batt. and trolling batts. but that was worse. i think my best bet is too put it on another boat and see if its the tranducer location or ducer itself

You can check you head unit on my boat if you don't find anyone. We are staying at lake form marina camp grounds and should get there sometime tomorrow.

I'll be on Lavon this weekend (most likely Saturday) if you don't have blade help you out. I have an 1197 so the plugs should be the same. Just let me know.
