I cant keep the dang liver on my hook,i even trieb a weedless treble.the dang liver will not stay on with my spinning cast wit my ugly stik,im using a quantum spiNning

i always just use thread, go to walmart get the cheepest white thread you can find,after you put your liver on the hook just pulloff bout 18 inchs of thread and just wrap it around and around .works pretty good for me.

I just dont use liver. I use punch bait for channels it stays on.

Use fresh chicken liver not frozen. Fresh is more firm. Also, use a hook with the keeper barbs on the shaft. It,s the little things that you should focus on!!

I have sprinkled chicken liver with sugar to toughed it up. My favorite method is to cut the liver into bait-size pieces and and dry it in the sun--kinda like jerky.

This ,but I use brown sugar.

Most definitely,fresh is better than frozen.
