First, let me introduce myself, I am BRAD UHL, and I have purchased Crappie World Magazine as of Jan 1, 2012. Some of you have read the current issue, and already knew that, some don't know why they havent seen an issue in over 7 months.

I have received several emails, about anything and everything bashing Crappie World magazine on this website as well as other sites and forums. I am trying to address them all. I wanted to give you all a chance to talk to me, face to face, instead of behind my back, or since communication with the old publishers and owner was obsolete, a new avenue to talk to the current publisher as well. I have been employed by this publishing company for the past 12 years,13 in Aug, on and off. I have had several positions here, including customer service manager. Taking that into consideration when I purchased this magazine, I took in everything complaint wise that I had heard over the years and tried to correct that. Mailings to the subscribers being one of them and my first priority. Other issues I am trying to address one at a time, like the print of the font is to small. No more stupid "you won a rod and reel" sweepstakes to be in a drawing. Bringing back the "crappie talk" section, hell, I one upped you, I am putting anglers like yourselves on the COVER!

Not being published in over 7 months, left a lot of subscribers wondering where, and high and dry. I decided to fulfill remaining subscriptions, althought I didn't have too. I worked 18 hour plus days, several weeks in a row, with no salary right now, and I built this magazine from scratch, by myself, to get it out on the newsstand and in the mail to the subscribers. When I say I did this, I by no means am complaining. Buy I did this by myself. The layout, the design, the graphics, the mailings and fulfillment, the ad sales, ect. I do have a customer service girl that is taking care of the phones, which I have spoke with several of you over, but the rest was me, or is me. Is it perfect? NOPE. I know more mistakes that you, I promise. BUT! A magazine went out. And it was my first. It was on time. It is on the newsstands, AND mailed to ALL current subscribers. Each magazine will get better, and adding over 8K new subscribers since JAN just shows some of you have faith. The next issue will be even better. There are several new sections in the magazines, and more are coming. Big changes including an updated website, facebook is open and you can friend Crappie World there, and twitter.

So I read a thread, of Crappie World has a new "GIMMICK" Well let me assure you its not gimmick, and other posters here that have ordered have verified. Yes, I am selling a lifetime subscription for $99, and you can be on the cover, have your crappie story published, receive a very large tackle pack, and other benefits. And you get a lifetime to BASSIN' included. Both magazines for $99. True story, search the forum and see. BUT....This offer started on JAN 1, and expires on 6-19, when the summer issue goes on sale! (summer issue is at the printer now, and should be in your mailboxs around the 15th)(my 2nd issue)

I am here to publish this magazine, and make it the best ever. I have seen it in its prime, and unlike others, I do not golf and use this magazine to fund my other hobby, I am an angler, just like all of you. Comments and complaints and suggestions are absolutly welcome!

Myself being a subscriber with about 1/3 issues received left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Needless to say every time the magazine in the past came up, suggested to viewers "not"
to bother with purchasing the magazine. For that am not sorry.

Wishing you the best of luck, and will be in your corner in the future and will recommend
the magazine anytime the issue comes up. Reason for coming around 180 degrees is
the fact that you came out in the open and told it like it is. That speaks for itself that there
is a "man" running the show.

That being said am going to apply for lifetime membership.

I appreciate your post. I am here to do this magazine the best, and make it better than ever. I know what needs to be fixed, but I want to try to make it great for everyone. I know 100% is impossible, but a positive # would be a great place to start!

I want all suggestions, ideas critiques, ect.

Appreciate the update and all your hard work Brad....I too subscribed for several years,but after problems with at least half the issues I gave up...Glad to hear someone is really ready to get the mag up too speed...I will give it another shot.

I think that being a standup guy about things will get you and the magazine some level of credibility.
