Had Steve Polosek and his son Eathan and friends Jeff and Bret. Fish are still flying around. Find fish and catch a couple and gone. My crew stuck with me till we got them a box of fish.Caught well over a 100 kept 83 for a fish fry. All fish caught on ole ugly slabs and flies . Color made no differance All fish caught on slopes and humps in 24 to 28 ft of water. A great group to fish with.Don't forget our weekday special for June. Give me a call for details.

We doubled our numbers in our box at the last stop.How did you'll end up. When I came by you'll were casting and I was afraid we would have been in the way.

We wound up w/ about 60-65 most keeper size. That spot you wound up at must be an afternoon deal. We tried it and only pulled 2

Yea but you have to wait for them to come to you.You see really good marks and catch a couple and then wait they are running between two humps.

Nice trip Johnny. I finally got my boat wet yesterday. It was our wedding anniversary yesterday so what better way to celebrate than to go fishing. I can't help it I'm such a romantic . The War Dept. and I went out to the Vine and got on the water about 7:15. After spending last weekend geting my boat ready after 7 months off, trailer tags, boat stickers, and a new cranking battery we finally got it out. Just to find out my trolling batterys were dead . I checked it last week and it worked fine. Anyway, since I had that tool taken away we ended up drifting over several areas. Ended up with 23 keepers and 1-5 lb kitty for the frying pan. Enjoyed the day.

Bama thinking about hitting vine today. Where did you have best luck? I was able to mark some fish friday but didnt have much luck (dealing with 2 kids didnt make it easier).

Fished Tawakoni on sat. 90 % of the fish we caught were between two humps, the saddle, and the presentation was a horizontal approach using, big sassys, slabs and little george type spinners. Toss reel stop let sink to bottom slow reel back to boat and stop @ 10 feet out to get the last second chasers!

My thoughts are you could of got on top of them and caught more faster. But if it is working keep doing it. I think you never quit learning as long as you fish. My problem is some stuff I am learning stuff for the third or fourth time.

Fatty, sorry i just saw your post. We were over on the flats by meadowmere and picked up several over there. I think thats the name on north bank across from the island. I was marking lots out by the rock crusher but the wind picked up and without my trolling motor my drifts were high speed so we didnt pick up too many out there before we left.
