Currently my rods are piled up in the corner of the garage. I'm looking at building a ceiling storage or wall mount type of storage in my garage.
How do you store yours? Show me some pics...

I would be careful storing anything lighter than a medium action up there for long, can give a rod a bend memory and really impede the action.

Thanks Hay and Jacob. Those look great!
Fishinfellow, I'm curious about your statement. I have never heard this before which is why I am really close to building something similar to both of the above pics, but I would prefer to not mess up my precious rods (in my best Schmegle voice)!
If this is true, maybe a wall storage would be better so the rods are not bent during storage.
Any other pics or opinions out there...

Here is mine, nothing fancy or pretty just something to get them out of the way Mine is a mix of the above. Only I used 4 hooks on the ends, with two 3/4 x 36" dowel rods to rest the poles on. I have stored my rods for years this way, and have yet to have an issue with one, that includes my dobyns

Here is my,made with oak hardwood floor mat. Can you tell us how you built the racks? I install hardwood floor that have some blank of oak left. You can use oak board or any kind of wood you like. First make the bottom part with 5 pieces of wood.2 pieces 4"x6",3/4 thick on both end the other 3 pieces you can make long or short depend on how many rods you want to put on,about 3.5-4 inch for each rod.1 long piece in the back again the wall, this piece to screw to the wall, about 2" wide.1 long piece about 5" wide put at angle for the rod butt to slide out.1 long piece 1 1/2" wide that been cut out half moon every 3-4" depend on how far you want between rods.To cut this piece i use 1 piece 3" wide, cut out circle 1 1/4" diameter then put on table saw rip out in half. Now the butt of rods slide out that means the tip of rods will lean to the wall. The pieces that suport blank made of 2 long pieces,1 about 2" wide that screw to wall,1 pieces 1 1/2" wide that have a notch every 3-4".I made this pieces similar to bottom pieces that I drill 1/2" hole every 3-4" then rip out in half. I like the bottom off the floor for eazy clean up but I have some rods that too long, have to put on floor
