we go to port a for one week every summer for vacation, all i do is fish. im a tournament bass fisherman but its always fun goin saltwater fishing when i go down there. never have a problem catching some kind of fish on cut or live bait, but rarely get bit with artificials. wondering if anybody has some tips for fishing with artificials in that area in the summer. Thanks!

There were a couple posts most say fish the jetties topwater if its calm. Fish in the channel if the tide is going out, fish the bay side other times. Early and late are better. Rattle traps someone suggested.
I'm heading down there mid july and hope to catch a fair amount.

Soft plastics, and topwater if the surf is calm.
