Hey everyone, it been a bit since ive posted here.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for fork this weekend. My buddy from houston just called and said he was heading up for the weekend and wants to go to fork. We have only been there a few times in the past and only fished around the 2946 bridge area.

it seems that we should start shallow and then go deep as the temp rises (correct me if im wrong). Were confident shallow, but dont fish deep too often. Were comfortable with a c rig but dont really know where to throw it.

Would anybody mind giving us a few pointers or maybe a few decent spots to head to? I would really appreciate any help.

Cover lots of water when you go deep. You will know pretty quick if the fish are there and feeding. 10-15mins on a spot and move on. Map out some good looking contour changes on a map before you go and cycle through those places throughout the day. The fish will show up and be hungry at some point and you can put alot of fish in the boat in a very short period of time. Mainlake humps, points, creek bends and tank dams will be good. Stay in tune with your locator and if you get on fish, pay attention to what is showing on the locator. This will help you be more efficient with your time on the water.

You can thank me now or later.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.
