Featherjig I would use a 12 or 10 depending on where you are you might even go to a 8 but thats the most I use and thats only for bass.

10, 14 smaller the better, but they will attack any all the the way up to 1 or 2 I pulled in 21 last time I went

I caught 100's of the little guys last year on just basic bug type patterns in natural colors. I tied a #8 hook and really had no problems...exception is the rio's seem a bit stand offish to my flies, your experience may differ...watch for snakes lol
